Ecology Education on the Coast of Maine Since 1998, Ferry Beach Ecology School (FBES) has brought innovative ecology education programs to thousands of children and adults throughout New England. In everything they do — week-long programs on a coastal campus, outreach and day programs at schools, publishing curriculums and field guides — FBES accentuates the magic, mystery and wonder of nature so that students can better understand and care for the environment.
We were greeted by a beautiful sunrise over Saco Bay this morning. The kids slept well and enjoyed a breakfast of cereal, scrambled eggs, and banana bread. Our first full day is underway and going well!

Mason M. Good to see you smiling and in your camo fleece shirt. Stay warm and have fun but make sure you do well in the classes too. It's a great opportunity to learn what a Biologist does in the field!
